All Arkansas Preps has named Woodlawn Bears head baseball coach Tommy Richardson the 2021 Coach of the Year.
Coach Richardson’s Bears finished the 2021 campaign 33-3, winning both the 8-2A regular season competition as well as the district tournament. They went on late in the spring to win the Class 2A South Regional Championship, followed by taking home the 2021 Arkansas 2A State Baseball Championship. The 2021 title was Coach Richardson’s seventh State Championship. The Bears held a 22-game win streak at one point during this past season.
