Norma Fay Isbell age 89, of Hermitage, AR (Jersey) went to be with the Lord, November 15th, 2021 at her daughter’s home in Cabot, AR. She was born July 25, 1932 in Humnoke, AR a daughter of the late John and Lucille Williams, she was retired from the Carlisle Public School District and was a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church in Jersey, AR. Her passions were her family, traveling and fishing. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Russell Isbell and five brothers, and two sisters.
Survivors include daughters, Betty Castlow (Gaston) of Honey Grove, TX and Anita Smith (Johnny) of Cabot, AR, her son Larry Isbell (Jan) of Munford, Tenn. Her sisters Lennie Rutledge of Marianna, AR and Theresa Nowlin of Denton, TX. Her brother Lewis Hyde of New Edinburg, AR. 9 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service was 2:00PM Saturday, November 20th at Hamilton Baptist Church. Visitation was 12:30PM till service time on Saturday at Hamilton Baptist Church. Active pallbearers were Buck Whitmill, Will Center, Jay Smith, Samuel Smith, Adron McCollister, Marty Carter, Ethan Wicker, and Nathaniel Smith. Burial in Hamilton Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
