The Rotary Club of Warren met Tuesday, Feb. 8 with Rotarian Jimmy Sledge presenting the program of Daniel Robinson, owner of Harold’s Processing, to the group. Harold’s Processing is located in Warren at the site of the old Lasiter Slaughter House on West Pine Street. It opened last year and offered deer, cattle, and pig processing. Robinson talked about his efforts to expand the business, which include a fish and meat market opening soon, hopefully sometime in March, where you can buy cuts of meat, seafood, and on select nights buy cooked meals. Harold’s Processing, named for his late father Harold Robinson, has recently started selling crawfish and other seafood and includes plans to begin selling eggs, fruit, vegetables, sauce, among many other items. Robinson explained how he decided to get into this business and also answered a few questions from the crowd.
