Clanton, Gerald M., CLU of St. Louis, passed away Jan. 9, 2022, at age 85. Loving husband of Gloria Clanton (Skaggs) for 60 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Reba Clanton; brother, Wayne Clanton; sisters Helen Furgerson and Shirley Clanton. Survived by his sister, Elizabeth Smith of Warren, AR and brother, Daniel Clanton of Little Rock, AR.
Gerald was graduate of University of Arkansas at Monticello. He served in U.S. Army National Guard (MO) and worked for Met Life until retirement. He served the Lord and worked as needed since 1961 at South Side Assembly of God (now Grace Union Church) until his health failed. He was an avid shopper/bargain hunter!
Services: Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Friday, January 21, 10 a.m. until service time at 12:00 p.m. Interment Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials to Grace Union Church, 3900 Union Rd., St. Louis, MO 63125
