HERMITAGE, Ark. – Organizers, residents, and local leaders gathered in Hermitage behind First State Bank Monday, February 7, 2022 for the official unveiling of the new Hermitage Blessing Box. Built to house food and other essential items available for anyone in need, the Hermitage Blessing Box was the idea of Marisa Gardner. She and her family took action to bring the community project to fruition. Area churches have agreed to help stock the box on a regular basic. Those who wish to donate can do so through any of the participating churches as well as the Hermitage Library. For a list of the participating churches, please see the video.
