Warren School District students across various grades have recently been learning more about and celebrating african-american history during February, Black History Month 2022.
Eight grade teacher Ms. Jodi Taintor’s Warren Middle School students helped her create the above interactive bulletin board shaped like the Periodic Table and features famous African Americans. Students can use their iPads to scan the QR code of each person and learn more about them and their contribution to society.
Coach Richey’s 7th grade Social Studies classes have also been researching Famous African Americans from Arkansas in the WMS media Center to make powerpoints and posters showcasing their contributions to society.
Mrs. Kaitlyn Raine’s Pre-AP students have been researching African Americans who contributed to our society or have made a positive impact in our world. The students colored a likeness of their chosen person to put with their research.
