An event called “The Table” will replace the long tradition of the Wild Game Festival at Immanuel Baptist Church from 6-8 p.m. April 9.
Senior pastor Rev. Matt Overall said anyone who wants a meal can come and get a free fish and chicken dinner. This will be a come and go affair, where meals will be served in the Activities Building. Needy families will be able to receive some groceries to take home. HopePlace Warren will have an informational table and a table will also have some literature about the church. A prayer room will be made available.
“This is just an opportunity for the church to serve the community, share a meal and let folks know that we care,” Overall said.
