Appearing in their first game since spring break, Warren struggled from the outset. ESTEM got on the board just three minutes into the ballgame with a break down the right wing. The Metropolitans cut a wonderful pass back across the middle in the box where it was tucked into the lower left corner to give ESTEM a 1-0 lead.
Their pressing game brought another chance in the seventh, as a shot grazed the crossbar.
Warren’s defense held relatively steady for the next fifteen minutes. Lady Jack Goalkeeper Valerie Navarro made a sensational save in the twenty-second minute. ESTEM however picked up their second three minutes later. They led 5-0 at the half and would go on to win 11-0.
Warren travels to Harding Academy Friday, April 1 for their next match.
