Snow piling up in parts of South Arkansas Friday evening

WARREN, Ark. – As a winter storm pushes through Arkansas Friday, South Arkansas is now feeling the brunt of the quick change in weather. As of Friday evening at 7:00 p.m., nearly three quarters of an inch of snow have fallen in Warren with more to come. Temperatures are also plunging. At 7:18 p.m. temperatures are at 32 degrees fahrenheit.

Road conditions are currently holding strong in Warren, but residents are urged to be extremely cautious when out and about.

Saturday, a low around 27 is expected. Wind chill values will fall as low as 20 with a north wind 5 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.
