Chamber of Commerce talks egg hunt success and more during April meeting

Bradley County Chamber of Commerce board members discussed several projects at their meeting Monday at Bradley County Economic Development Corp.

Chairwoman Terrie White said the Easter egg hunt in the Warren City Park was a success, with plenty of donations, candy and volunteers. Jeff Wardlaw and his family cooked hot dogs at the event. About 100 children attended.

A total of 50 flag banners for the downtown area have been ordered.

A discussion was held about creating new maps for the city and county. More information will be sought.

U.S. Sen. John Boozman will make an appearance at Warehouse B at 9:30 a.m. Thursday.

A motion was approved to pay White’s dues for Warren Lions Club and Warren Rotary Club.

Warren Band Parents Association will sponsor their annual auction at 9 a.m. April 29, band banquet at 6:30 p.m. May 5 and spring concert at 4 p.m. May 7.
