Edward Nelson York age 71, of Warren, AR died Sunday, April 3, 2022 at the Bradley County Medical Center. He was born Thursday, September 7, 1950 in Warren, AR a son of the late Leonard York and Alice York. He worked in the auto body repair industry for 47 years, was a member of Eagle Lake Crossroads Baptist Church, a graduate of the Hermitage Public Schools and served his country in the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by his spouse, Marilyn Cosby York whom he married December 21, 1972 and she died September 26, 2007.
He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie York Burks and spouse Joe, Warren, AR. Brother Melvin York, Jackson, MS, sisters Fay Forrest and spouse Jerry, Sumpter, AR, Judy York, Lawrenceburg, TN, and Elizabeth Briley, Wiggins, MS and a grandson Harley Sanders.
Church service was 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at First Baptist Church with John Gaskin and Michael Gardner officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
