Immanuel Baptist Church of Warren recently held a new event called “The Table” April 9.
The event included a free fish meal and chicken dinner for anyone in the community. Church volunteers cooked and helped serve the food at the come and go affair. Families in need were also able to receive some groceries to take home during the event.
Senior pastor Matt Overall said “this is just an opportunity for the church to serve the community, share a meal and let folks know that we care.”
