“Our community was so helpful with the Backpack Blessing Program in December,” says the Warren Branch Library. With the hot summer months approaching, Warren Branch Library will be doing another backpack giveaway for our local friends experiencing homelessness. While the library is able to provide many of the needed items through generous contributions from our community, several items are still needed. If you would like to help with donations, the following items are needed: Cutter Skinsations Insect Repellent, Aloe Vera Gel, Notebooks, Pens, Socks, and Antibiotic Ointment. In order to fill all of the bags, fifty of each of these items will be needed. Donated items may be dropped off at the Library at 115 West Cypress St in Warren by April 29th. Volunteers will be needed to help pack the backpacks in May. For more information about this program, please call the library at 870-226-2536.
