WARREN, Ark. – The Lady Jack’s Softball Team picked up the win Tuesday, April 19, 2022 as they played host to the Wildcats of Watson Chapel.

Warren jumped out to an early lead and never looked back.
In the bottom of the first inning, Anna Grace Bolland led off with a single followed by Hannah Taulbee with a single. Jacy Ashcraft’s single drove in two runs to give the Lady Jacks a 2-0 lead.

After a 1-2-3 top of the second inning for Watson Chapel, the Lady Jacks plated four runs in the bottom of the inning. Heidi Taulbee, Alyssa Higgins, and Addison Rauls scored on singles by Luci Woodard and Jacy Ashcraft. After two innings Warren led 6-0.
In the top of the third inning the Lady Wildcats cut the Lady Jack lead in half by scoring three runs.
The Lady Jacks used a two-out rally to score five runs to put the game out of reach. Anna Grace Bolland and Hannah Taulbee reached base on errors. Luci Woodard’s double and Jacy Ashcraft’s single scored them both. Macy Jarvis’s RBI double scored Ashcraft. Bracy Bickers doubled to score Jarvis.
Warren held Watson Chapel scoreless in the top of the fourth inning.
In the bottom of the fourth Warren picked up two more runs when Luci Woodard tripled with two outs. Jacy Ashcraft’s RBI single scored Woodard. Macy Jarvis’s RBI double scored Ashcraft.
Warren took a 13-3 lead into the top of the fifth inning. The Lady Jacks once again held Watson Chapel scoreless for the victory.
Everyone in the Lady Jack lineup reached base at least once. Jacy Ashcraft went four for four at the plate. Luci Woodard went three for four. She had a single, double, and a triple. Hannah and Heidi Taulbee each had a single. Macy Jarvis had a double. Bracy Bickers and Anna Grace Bolland also had singles.
Alyssa Higgins pitched 5 innings for the win. She struck out three.
The Warren Lady Jacks travel to Crossett on Thursday.
