Part of County Road 45 near Mt. Olive washes out, and more rain is forecast for Sunday

Recent rainfall caused a portion of Bradley Rd. 45 near the community of Mt. Olive to washout Saturday, April 16, 2022 according to County officials.

The Mt. Olive community, and all portions of Bradley County south of Hermitage could see total rainfall amounts of up to an inch by Sunday evening(see the map below).

The National Weather service is forecasting more rain for Bradley County Sunday. Showers are likely and possibly a thunderstorm before 10:00 a.m., then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Showers are also likely, and possibly a thunderstorm, after 1pm. A high is expected near 66 with a northeast wind at 5 to 10 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. The chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts are forecast between a tenth and quarter of an inch for Warren, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
