May 6-12 is National Nurses Week. It is the same date each year. It begins on May 6, which is considered National Nurses Day, and continues through May 12, which is in honor of Florence Nightingale’s Birthday.
Just think about nurses and all they do. Nurses perform the most essential health care tasks. They serve east the first point of contact with patients and often the last. They assist in life-threatening crises, deliver babies and care for the most vulnerable. We thank all of the nurses in our community for their service and dedication.
