Lady Jacks finish conference play with tough road test against defending state champs PA

LITTLE ROCK – In there final 4A East Conference match of the season, the Warren Lady Jacks came up against a powerhouse team in the Pulaski Academy Lady Bruins, falling by the final of 10-0 Tuesday evening on the road in Little Rock.

Pulaski Academy, the defending 4A State Champion womens team, got on the board for the first time in the tenth minute after a shot from distance ricocheted off of the cross bar. The rebound was put in as PA took a 1-0 lead. The Lady Bruins would put together a host of goals before the halftime break when they led 9-0.

They would add another goal in a shortened second half due to the sportsmanship rule to win at full time 10-0.

Although the scoreline was heavily in favor of Pulaski Academy, Warren’s women fought tough, and will face-off against CAC Friday. That will be the final game of their 2022 season.

Last Friday night the Lady Jacks fell to the Star City Lady Bulldogs by the final of 2-1.
