Local youth compete in 4-H District Broiler BBQ contest

Bradley County takes District Broiler BBQ contest in Arkadelphia with the 1st and 2nd placements in the Senior Division. Bradley County also took the 1st placement in the Junior Division that was held in Little Rock. Michaela Stanley won 1st place and Emmanuel Strong won 2nd in the competition held in Arkadelphia, and Jack Chambers took the 1st placement in the Junior Division while competing in Little Rock. Stanley and Strong qualified to compete in early June at the state contest in Rogers, Arkansas. In the first picture from left to right is Weston Gavin, Michaela Stanley, Emmanuel Strong, and Luke Cathey. Gavin placed 8th in the Senior Division, and Cathey placed 7th in the Junior Division.
