Warren’s senior captain, central attacking midfielder Hector Torres, score two spectacular first half goals to put Warren up 2-0 in the first half.

Torres completed the hat trick with a penalty kick in the second.

Warren’s defense put on an equally spectacular display of their own. The back four of Daniel Sosa, Miguel Mendoza, Ivan Pahuamba, and Oscar Perez, combined with the continued calm and collected play of goalkeeper Jessie Cortes, effectively shut CAC’s forward line down. The Mustangs had just one scoring chance on the night, and they were unable to capitalize.

The Jacks won by the final of 3-0. They next get set for the 4A State Tournament which begins this coming Thursday.
