Local State Farm agent, Joey Cathey has a long history of demonstrating what it means to be a Good Neighbor by stepping up to help his community. On May 19, 2022, Joey Cathey presented Donald W Reynolds YMCA of Warren and Bradley County with a $10,000 grant from State Farm® as part of our Outstanding Community Engagement Program.
Donald W Reynolds YMCA of Warren and Bradley County was selected by State Farm Agent Joey Cathey, as part of his recognition for being 1 of 100 agents nationwide who were nominated and selected for their outstanding community engagement.
“At State Farm, we are committed to helping build stronger communities,” says Agent Joey Cathey. “For me, it’s not enough to simply say we’re a Good Neighbor, we embrace the responsibility to make this community better by being a part of a solution. The Y is special to my family, and it is a huge asset to our community.”
“The YMCA of Warren and Bradley County is extremely grateful for our partnership with State Farm Agent Joey Cathey and his involvement at the Y. It is an honor to stand with him in making our community a better place. We celebrate with him this recognition and we are humbled that he would think of us as a recipient for this grant.” says CEO David Richey.
