Webb named to SEC Community Service Team

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas’ Braydon Webb has been named to the 2022 SEC Baseball Community Service Team in recognition of his accomplishments beyond the field of competition.

Webb has been actively involved in the Fayetteville community during his time as a Razorback. For the second year in a row, he has worked with Team Impact in support of Arkansas’ annual Childhood Cancer Awareness game.

The McKinney, Texas, native was named to the 2022 CoSIDA Academic All‐District Team (District 6) and currently boasts a 4.0 GPA as he pursues his master’s degree in operations management from the University of Arkansas College of Engineering. Webb graduated with his bachelor’s degree in finance.

On the field, Webb is a major contributor to Arkansas’ offense with 12 home runs and 32 RBI in 46 games this season. He ranks second on the Hogs in homers (12), runs scored (42), on-base percentage (.422), slugging percentage (.545) and stolen bases (8).

The SEC names a Community Service Team for each of its 21 league-sponsored sports, looking to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to his community through superior service efforts.
