Since the beginning of the Revolutionary War in 1775, approximately 1.1 million United States soldiers have died in battle. While Memorial Day Weekend brings an unofficial beginning to summer, barbecues, lake days, and many other events we all love, let us not forget the sacrifices of our brave servicemen and servicewomen this Memorial Day.
There will be a Memorial Day Ceremony Monday, May 30 at 11 a.m. at the Bradley County Veterans Museum. The public is invited to attend.
