Billy Ray Bethea age 93 of Warren, AR passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Bradley County Medical Center in Warren, AR. He was born May 5, 1929 in Wilmar, AR to the late Albert Henry Bethea and Ruby George Bethea. He was a private first class in the United States Army and worked for the Arkansas State Highway Department for 32 years.
Other than his parents he is preceded in death by a son, Billy Michael Bethea; a brother, Arthur Bethea and sisters, Faye McKinney, Helen Dodgion and Arline Vickers.
Survivors include his wife, Charlene Lassiter Bethea of Warren, AR whom he married on September 16, 1969. Sons, Perry Moore and spouse Janice of Rison, AR and Jerry Moore and spouse Judy of Warren, AR along with three grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Funeral service was held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Frazer’s Funeral Home with Steve Mann officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Perry Moore, Jerry Moore, Gene McPherson and Christopher McPherson.
