A 43-year-old Warren man, Corey Terrell Buckner was sentenced June 13, 2022 to 10 years in prison after negotiating a plea deal on a class D felony charge of possession of firearms by certain persons that took place in late August of 2018.
Buckner, who was charged as a habitual offender, was given credit for 194 days already served in the case which was presided over by Circuit Judge Quincey Ross. In addition to the 10-year sentence, Ross also ordered Buckner to pay court costs and fees in payments of no less than $100 a month.
