JeNelle Lipton presents program to Warren Rotary

The Rotary Club of Warren met for their weekly meeting Tuesday, Sept. 27 at First United Methodist Church. The group heard from Warren Junior Rotarian Heidi Taulbee and Hermitage Junior Rotarian John Robert Ellis first before Rotarian Denisa Pennington presented her program of JeNelle Lipton. Mrs. Lipton spoke about the Bradley County Historical Museum at length and also showed off a number of items for the Rotarians, including a picture from 1986 of the Warren Rotary Club. She touched on a number of different projects the museum has been involved in over the years and some of the items at the museum. Fundraising is very important to keep the Bradley County Historical Museum up and running with their hamburger supper happening this Friday being one of their bigger ones. She also mentioned the Christmas Gala and mentioned donations are important as well, not only through money, but also items for the museum. Mrs. Lipton closed the program by answering a few questions from the crowd. The Rotary Club of Warren will hear from Junior Rotarians Sayra Martinez (Hermitage) and Emma Mann (Warren) next week. We are on Facebook now too, search for Rotary Club of Warren, Arkansas to like our page to keep up with the latest from our club.
