Patti Kathaleen Copeland Fort, 67, of Lowell, AR passed away peacefully on September 9, 2022, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville. She was born September 12, 1954 in Warren, AR to the late Clifford and Essie Copeland.
A graduate of Hermitage High School, Patti attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello where she met and married Dr. David B. Fort, Jr. on December 21, 1974. Patti loved sewing, embroidery, smocking, cooking, gardening, painting and spending time with her family and her dogs.
She is survived by her husband, David; daughter, Davina Holly Fort Crosthwait and spouse Allen; granddaughter, Kamryn Alexandra Wright; brothers, Johnny Copeland, James Copeland and spouse Julie, Mike Copeland, and Kelvin Copeland and spouse Kelly; sisters, Judy Copeland Hays, Catherine Copeland Karnes and spouse Mark, and Karen Copeland Lively and spouse Andy; sister-in-law, Sharon Fort McMillan; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Roy Gene Copeland; mother-in-law, Katherine Fort; sister-in-law, Sophia Copeland; and brothers-in-law, Rex Hays and Hugh McMillan.
Graveside service was held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2022 at Oakland Cemetery in Warren, AR. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
