The following is an official press release form the Monticello Police Department:
The Monticello Police Department is investigating the Saturday shooting death of a Warren man that occurred at a trailer park on Winchester Road.
MPD Officers responded to a shots fired call Saturday and found Jkyron Marquis Hines, age 25, deceased outside of a residence.
Arrested in this case Brenisha Rayford, age 24. Rayford is charged with 1st Degree murder and hindering apprehension or prosecution.
Rayford was taken for a first appearance today and received a $200,000 bond.
A second person was detained at the scene but was later released.
Detectives have executed multiple search warrants related to this case and are continuing to analyze physical and digital evidence as the investigation is still ongoing.
Additional Arrests Made in Connection with Saturday Shooting
According to Monticello Police Department Chief Jason Akers, two more arrests have been made in connection with Saturday’s fatal shooting of a Warren man.
According to Akers, last night MPD Detectives arrested Alouyius Robinson, age 21 and Jarion Robinson, age 19 and have charged both with 1st Degree Murder in connection with Saturdays incident.
Both suspects bonds were set at $350,000.
