Sophomore receiver and defensive back Neon’dre Thomas earned Player of the Game honors for an outstanding all-around performance in Warren’s week eight conference game vs. Monticello Friday night, October 21, 2022.
Thomas and the Lumberjacks defeated the Monticello Billies by the final of 34-0 in the Union bank and Trust Saline River Shootout to move to 6-0 in Conference 8-4A and 7-1 overall. Thomas had an impressive night on both sides of the ball. The multi-sport athlete caught four passes for a total of 75 yards receiving. He also contributed greatly on defense, picking off two Monticello passes, one of which shut-down a Billies’ drive deep into Warren territory, preserving the Lumberjack defense’s shutout. Congratulations to Neon’dre and best of luck next week when the Jacks host Central of Helena-West Helena.
