Fire crews were called to the scene of a grass fire on the east side of Highway 63 just south of Warren near the Johnsville cutoff road Thursday afternoon just after 1:00 p.m.
Crews from both the City of Warren Fire Department and Rural Fire Department responded. As of 1:17 p.m. the fire was reported under control. Another grass fire was reported near the Warren airport around the same time. It was also reportedly under control.
No cause is known at this time of either fire.
No further information is available at this time.
Bradley County remains under a burn ban due to dry conditions.
