Although the Lumberjacks came up just short against Malvern in the quarterfinals of the 4A State Playoffs, Lee Johnson earned Saline River Chronicle Player of the Game honors for his performance in the close battle. Johnson, a senior at Warren High, made three tackles and a crucial interception which kept Malvern out of the end zone early in the first half. Congrats to Johnson on a fantastic season. He and the rest of this senior class will be missed.
