DUMAS, Ark. – While they didn’t come away with the win, the Warren Lumberjacks gave a very talented Russellville team a hard-fought battle Saturday as the orange and black fell by the final of 52-38 in their final appearance at the 2022 Dumas Holiday Classic Tournament December 17.
In the opening five minutes Warren outworked Russellville. The Jacks looked sharp defensively, creating a lot of havoc amongst the Cyclones who arrived at this one heavy favorites. Warren’s press was intense, and their half court defensive even more so, but getting shots to fall early on the offensive end eluded the axemen. Russellvile opened a 12-5 lead at the end of the first.
