Mrs. Jody Diane Milton age 77 of Warren, AR passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday, December 26, 2022 at the Bradley County Medical Center. She was born March 31st, 1945 in Houston, TX a daughter of the late Leo Dettle and Antoinette Marie Mitchell Dettle. After high school she received her teaching certification from Arkansas A and M in Monticello, AR, served her teaching career in the Warren Public Schools for many years, upon her retirement from teaching, she joined her husband in their family business at Robert C. Milton Accounting in Warren, AR. Jody loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved all of the family days on the golf course watching her family play golf and the family vacations. She loved the St. Louis Cardinals and the Warren Lumberjacks. Jody was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Dettle and a sister Eloise Bradford.
She is survived by her husband Robert “Bob” Milton whom she married June 14th, 1966 in Warren, AR. Sons Robert Milton and wife Kim, Crossett, AR and Michael Milton and wife Tina, Warren, AR. A brother James Dettle and wife Kim, Destin, Fla. A sister Deborah Hall and husband Robert, Memphis, TN. Three grandchildren Brandy Ferrell and husband Chase, Landon Milton and Tori Milton. Two great grandchildren Dawson Ferrell and River Ferrell.
Church service was 3:00PM Thursday, December 29th at the First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Arthur Fogarty officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
