Temporary shelter open for those without heat at Immanuel Baptist Church

Saline River Chronicle has learned that a shelter is opening tonight at 7:00 p.m. Thursday night, December 22, 2022 for anyone living without proper shelter or heat at Immanuel Baptist Church. Meals and volunteer shifts are also being organized by HopePlace Warren. The shelter is planned to have security throughout the entire weekend, including during Christmas, around the clock.

The shelter is also accepting cots, sleeping pads, sleeping bags, pillows, blankets, air mattresses that re in excellent condition. They can be dropped off at either HopePlace Warren or IBC.
