Travaris DeWayne ‘TMan” Clary, 1993-2022

Travaris DeWayne ‘TMan’ Clary, 29, of Monticello, passed away November 20, 2022. Born October 30, 1993, he was a son of Scicily Clary and Vertrell Davis. He graduated from Monticello High School, Monticello, AR. in May 2012. He furthered his education at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in Little Rock, AR.

Travaris received his Commerical Driver’s License (CDL) from Pam’s Transportation School in Little Rock, AR. and for five years he thoroughly enjoyed cross-country driving.

His pastime was spent fishing, singing and spending time with his family. The highlight of his day was spending time with his grandfather, “Papa”, Dexter Campbell and his son, Travaris “TJ’ Jr.

Travaris was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Linda Mae Porter; paternal grandparents, Vernell and Gladys Davis; second cousins, Kenneth McCoy, Glenn Trotter and Darnell Davidson.

He is survived by his son, Travaris Clary Jr.; mother, Scicily Clary Clay; stepfather, Kenneth Clay; father, Vertrell Davis; grandfather, Dexter DeWayne Campbell; special grandmother, Janet Strickland, brothers,
Dontavia, Kenneth Jr., Raphael, Martgus, Marvontre; special friend, Taiosha Pettit, one niece; one nephew; a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service was held December 3 at St. James AME Church in Warren. Burial was in St. John Cemetery, New Edinburg. Arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home.
