STUTTGART, Ark. – Despite a terrific fourth quarter performance the Warren Lady Jacks fell Friday night to the Stuttgart Lady Ricebirds by the final of 55-24.
Struggles shooting from the field continued to plague Warren’s Lady Jack basketball team in the opening minutes of their trip to Stuttgart. Warren was held scoreless in the first, falling behind 16-0.

Warren did manage a couple of baskets in the second, but still had trouble finding solid footing. Stuttgart took a 39-5 advantage into the halftime break. Both teams played out an even third. Warren won the fourth quarter, hitting four threes in the final period. It would not be enough however as the Lady Jacks lost to Stuttgart by the final of 55-24.
Tessa Andrus led Warren on the scoresheet with seven. She was followed by Paris Wright and Cherish Dooley with six each. Taliyah Walton had three, and Raven Harris scored two.
Wright also led Warren in rebounds with four.
The loss pushes Warren’s record to 0-2 in the 8-4A. The Lady Jacks are now 1-9 overall on the season. They travel to Crossett Tuesday, January 10, 2023 to take on the Lady Eagles with a tip off set for 5:30 p.m.
