Sometimes in our search for news we come upon, or are brought stories, that simply tug at our hearts. So today we are passing along a prayer request for two South Arkansas children, both currently battling brain tumors. The following information is limited, as we want to give both families the privacy they deserve while going through a difficult time, but we believe in the power of prayer and love. So we ask that the members of our community lift both these children up in their prayers.
According to the information sent to Saline River Chronicle, Sophie Mendez of Warren and Andy Boykin of Crossett, have both been recently diagnosed with brain tumors. Both are undergoing treatment, but please keep both Sophie and Andy, as well as all of the medical personnel providing care for them, as well as their parents and families in your prayers.
