The Warren Athletic Department released an updated basketball schedule Thursday which makes at least two changes going forward from the previous schedule released earlier this season.
From our brief look at the schedule so far, it appears that tomorrow’s Friday, January 20 games vs. Watson Chapel will be at Watson Chapel. We confirmed with head Lumberjack Coach Joseph Anders that the new Lumberjack Arena’s opening date will be a January 27 game vs. Monticello instead.
From the changes which have been made, Warren is switching their home and away games with Watson Chapel to accommodate the home opener being held at the new Arena rather than at the old gymnasium on Seminary Street. While the junior high teams have been playing games in the old gym, no senior games have taken place there this season, and none are planned.
