Varian Lee “Butch” Hedger, age 67 of Rison, AR passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2023 at Medical Center of South Arkansas in El Dorado, AR. He was born October 17, 1955 in Fort Worth, TX to Lewis and Bobbie Hedger. He was a member of Union United Methodist Church and was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the US Navy station on USS Neosho ship.
He is preceded in death by his father, Lewis Hedger.
Survivors include his son, Kyle Hedger and spouse Erin; mother, Bobbie Hedger; brother, Ricky Hedger; sisters, Lois Ann Hedger and Tammy Hedger; five grandchildren and a special friend, Janie Elton.
Graveside service was held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Williams Cemetery. Burial was in Williams Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home.
