Willie Mae Thomas, 75, of California, formerly of Banks, died December 26, 2022. Born June 10, 1947, a daughter of the late John Willie ‘Jake’ and Mamie Lee Turner.
She was also preceded in death by four siblings, John Wille Turner Jr., Alma ‘Gooby’ Turner, Chester Lee Turner and Shirley Mae Cobb.
She is survived by her daughters, Teresa Thomas, Janice Thomas both of California; brother, Randy Turner (Veletha) of Banks; grandchildren, Asiah Walker, Ashanae Brown, Demontrion Butler, Oscar Brown, Ja’nique Thomas; great-grandchildren, A’meir Butler, Ma’rie Brown; aunt, Caroline Bankson of Crossett; a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside service was held January 15 at Lacey Cemetery, Lacey, AR. Arrangements by Hammons Funeral Home.
