Four Hermitage High School juniors were selected to participate in UAMS “A Day in the Life” at UAM on February 17, 2023. ” A Day in the Life” is a one day healthcare experience allowing high school juniors and seniors to see what “A Day in the Life” is like for a medical professional. Through speakers such as pharmacists, family medicine physicians, nurses, and more, students are able to learn about the career and ask questions. Students also tour a medical facility (where available) and take part in medical station rotations for hands-on activities. Hermitage High School juniors who participated in this event are Ma’Kya Ashley, Ana Castillo, Caeleigh Grice, and Aislin England.
