Three Warren sixth grade students were nominated by their Gifted and Talented teacher for the Discovering Excellence in Arkansas Award. All three students have been notified that they have been selected for this award. The students are part of a group of only 100 students from around the state who have been selected to be honored during a special evening event at The Museum of Discovery in Little Rock. Students will attend an awards ceremony which will feature a special speaker and will be able to participate in hands-on activities with Scientists from different science disciplines. There will also be opportunities to discuss careers in STEM.
