Thursday morning, a large tree fell near Central street striking a vehicle with a person inside. Fortunately that individual is ok, but fire and police crew help was required to extricate the person from the vehicle.
Other reports have come in of trees down all over Bradley County. Residents are urged to stay vigilant when traveling. Although iDrive Arkansas shows no major road issues in Bradley County at this time, local authorities tell us that trees and limbs are still a concern, as they are falling faster than they can be reported due to ice.
Earlier this morning a portion of Bradley 7 North was reported impassable due to downed limbs.
The ice storm warning is set to expire at noon Thursday, but more rain is expected throughout the day and into tonight.
Saline River Chronicle will continue to monitor the situation and update readers as quickly as possible.
