Warren Fire Department celebrated its 103rd birthday in style Saturday night at Warren Country Club with a steak dinner, awards, a fundraising auction and a dance featuring Boots Bailey and the Boys.
A large crowd was on hand as Capt. Clint Horn served as master of ceremonies. He noted that improvements in the past year included the new Engine 6, new hoses and nozzles, and income from the ball will be used for more equipment for the new engine. The department responded to 194 calls last year.
