WHS Accounting students are participating in the Stock Market Game this school year. The teams consist of Tayshawn Johnson and Landon Barton for “The Buyers” and Ivan Pahuamba, Olivia Davidson, Abigail Pascual-Cortez, and Vincent Davis for the “Money Chasers”.
These students are researching companies, stock quotes and competing with other schools by buying stocks and making money. As of February 14th, “The Buyers” are in 9th place and “The Money Chasers” are in 10th place out of 109 teams. The last day of the competition is April 7.
This year has been a roller coaster ride in the stock market, but these students have done their research and made some smart decisions when buying stocks. The SMG engages students, enhances research skills, and improves financial knowledge.
