Banks, Ark. – The Town of Banks has issued a Public Service Announcement regarding the membership dues for the Banks Volunteer Fire Department District. The district provides essential fire coverage for the Town of Banks, the Wagnon community down to the main line road on BR 1 south, and the Lacey Hill area.
According to the PSA, membership dues of $20/year are due by April 15th, 2023. It is essential that all members renew their membership to ensure that the department has the resources it needs to provide the best possible service to the community.
The PSA also warns that if a fire call is made, and the person in need of assistance is not a member of the district, a service charge of $250 will be charged. It is, therefore, vital that all residents of the district become members of the Banks Volunteer Fire Department to avoid such charges.
Dues may be paid at City Hall during regular office hours, placed in the drop box at City Hall, or mailed to Banks Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 104, Banks, AR 71631.
The Town of Banks urges all residents to renew their membership dues promptly and help the department continue to provide the best possible service to the community.
