GFWC Warren Woman’s Club members are partnering with the First Baptist Church Christian School in hosting Bradley County’s 2023 Arbor Day celebration on Friday, April 28th. The event is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Warren. The public is invited to join them for this special observance.
National Arbor Day is celebrated on the last Friday of April each year and this year marks the 151st anniversary of the holiday that celebrates planting trees!
Bradley County Judge Klay McKinney and Warren Mayor Gregg Reep will be special guests along with students from the First Baptist Church Christian School in Warren. Other guests attending will be the Bradley County Veterans and the Arkansas State Forestry officials.
This will be a special day for the FBCS students as they plant a tree on their playground and learn the significance of this time honored observance.
