CROSSETT, Ark. – The Warren Lumberjacks baseball squad racked up 13 hits, including home runs from Bryson Harris and Maddox Lassiter, but Crossett was able to come from behind to earn a key conference victory by a score of 8-7 Friday evening at EC Crossett Field.
Warren now stands at 6-6 overall and 3-4 in the 4A-8 Conference race, while the Eagles improved to 12-9 and 5-4 in league play. Stuttgart is undefeated in conference action, but five of the remaining six teams in the conference all have between three and five wins.

The Orange and Black raced out to a 4-0 advantage after Harris hit a two-run homer in the third inning. Lassiter hit a solo shot in the fourth and the Jacks added another run in the frame. Crossett got on the board in the fourth inning and a huge fifth inning got the Eagles back in the game with six runs scored. The Eagles would go on to win the game 8-7.
Harris took home the Greg Harton Shelter Insurance Player of the game award with a 3-for-4 effort at the plate with three RBIs. The sophomore hit a two-run round-tripper, a RBI double, and added a single in his last at bat.
Lassiter’s offensive effort was impressive as well as the senior was 2-for-3 with a solo homer, a double, and was intentionally walked in his last at bat along with a couple of runs scored. Nathan Spears, Landon Wolfe, and Ervin Rivera all added two hits apiece, while Delfino Rivera and Eli Densmore had one hit on the day.
Kolby Pope was solid for four innings on the mound, but ran into trouble in the fifth inning. Ervin Rivera finished the game on the bump for the Jacks.
The Lumberjacks return to action Tuesday, April 18 for a conference tilt against Star City at home. First pitch is scheduled at the Warren Sports Complex for 5 p.m.
