BANKS, Ark. – Excitement is brewing in the town of Banks as construction work on the new fire station enters its final stages. Over the past week, significant progress has been made, with essential components added to the structure, signaling the project’s imminent completion.
The latest developments include the installation of the roof, the attachment of trim and gutters, and the fitting of doors. Additionally, the construction team has focused on finishing touches, such as dirt work, drain line coverage, and cleanup. These crucial steps bring the exterior of the fire station closer to its final appearance.
In a statement released by the Town of Banks, officials expressed their optimism regarding the project’s progress. “We hope to have the building completed on the outside next week, leaving the City to finish out a conference and training room, bathroom, and overhead storage, along with electrical and water/sewer taps,” the statement read.
