Our beloved loved one, Mark ‘Tattoo’ Whitaker, age 67, recently passed away Friday, May 19, 2023 at 6:14pm, in Hot Springs, Arkansas at CHI St. Vincent Hosptial. He was born May 1, 1956 in Inverness, Mississippi to James and Susie Miller Whitaker. He is preceded in death by his parents; his son, Mark Whitaker, Jr.; and his siblings, Jesse Whitaker, Lee Whitaker, Tommy Whitaker, Aubrey Whitaker, Pinky Whitaker, Glenda Roden, and Hesterine Whitaker.
Mark was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, and so much more who touched the lives of those around him. He meant the world to so many.
Mark dedicated his life to his family, friends, and even strangers. He was always there helping anyone in need, no matter the situation. Mark had a heart of gold with a bright smile that always lit up any room!
He is survived by his children, Rickey Whitaker (Ashley) of Warren, Arkansas, Brandy Whitaker (Jason) of Warren, Arkansas, and Angie Raymond (Ricky) of Lambert, Mississippi; nine grandchildren; and siblings, Floyd Whitaker of Hamburg, Arkansas, Shirley Whitaker of Indianola, Mississippi, Mae Raymond of Leland Mississippi, Patsy Pinion of Leland, Mississippi, and Mary Luby of Leland, Mississippi.
Services are under the direction of Frazer’s Funeral Home in Warren, Arkansas.
