Warren, Ark. – The east side of The Eagle Democrat building is undergoing a remarkable transformation as a replacement mural takes shape, replacing the old flag mural that was torn down as part of a demolition project south of the Bradley County Courthouse. This new mural, proudly displaying the American flag, will ensure that the community can continue to revel in the symbol of their patriotism.
The former American flag mural, located on the south side of the Bradley County Courthouse Square, had to be taken down due to the demolition of the buildings on that block. However, thanks to the efforts of Union Bank and Trust, a new mural will grace the walls of The Eagle Democrat building, keeping the spirit of the flag alive.
Taking charge of this task is Jason White of White’s Artwork, a skilled artist renowned for his creative talents, as well as the painter of the previous flag mural. Commencing the full mural on Tuesday, May 30th, 2023, White wasted no time in bringing his vision to life. Starting with the outline, the transformation promises to be swift and captivating, potentially even reaching completion before the highly anticipated Bradley County Pink Tomato Festival.
